Marcos Padovani starts his first activities as a wind musical instrument technician.

After years of experience as a trumpet player and maintenance technician, Marcos chooses lutherie as a profession.

Matheus, his son, also began to take an interest and help with the services that were performed in a room at the back of the house where they lived.

ATELIER IN THE CITY OF MUSIC IN BRAZIL

2013

ATELIER EM TATUÍ/ SP

The Padovani Instrumentos atelier (that was the name of our company in the beginning) was next to the Conservatório de Tatuí.

Many students, teachers and musicians from the region were treated there and many friendships were made there. The atelier became a pleasant meeting place.

DELIVERY SERVICE

Our vehicle was used to take tools to schools and do on-site maintenance. And we always carried instruments for maintenance in our workshop. Some customers met us while driving, and business cards were handed out at stops.

IN 2017 WE MOVED TO OUR OWN PROPERTY

Itu/ São Paulo

There were many challenges, but in January 2017 we were already providing services in our own property.

MORE ROOM FOR NEW PROJECTS TO COME

Now we even have parking, in a total area of 310 mt2

From the beginning in a room at the back of the house to our new headquarters was an arduous journey. Now with more space and a better structure, we started to idealize new horizons.

MOUTHPIECE MANUFACTURING

In 2017 we launched our first line of mouthpieces

We still didn't have a mechanical lathe, much less a CNC, we didn't have an electroplating sector, much less a project sector. But the will to create a line of mouthpieces was stronger than all the difficulties.

OUR FIRST MOUTHPIECE

This was our first mouthpiece manufactured in the year 2017.

We never imagined that our nozzles would reach this far!

DIFFERENT FROM THE BEGINNING

We are always looking for an innovative design, and this was the first one we managed to come up with in the face of the many difficulties we face. To our delight the mouthpiece had a lot of sound, and that's what made us believe that we should keep improving this project.

The approval of customers motivated us

We took 26 mouthpieces to the Jazz Trumpet Festival in 2017. To our surprise, several customers encouraged us to continue making mouthpieces. But what most caught our attention was that a professional musician of great prominence bought our mouthpiece and still has it today. Even having acquired other newer models, he still keeps that first model with great affection.

2018
Beggining our own machining

The challenge of designing, programming and operating the CNC

It took months of hard work and study, but we did it. Matheus assumed this responsibility. Now the machining is 100% in our hands.
